Wedding: Jessie & Adam, Part two

Greenbank Farm was totally breathtaking (I have to admit, this was my first time ever to Whidbey Island, and I was stunned). From the hill where Jessie and Adam had their ceremony, you could see the Puget Sound on both sides of the island.

Jessie and Adam were so thoughtful when they planned their wedding — one of my favorite ideas they had was to have their seven best friends ordained and perform the ceremony together. It was really touching because those were the people who knew them the best, and the people who officially married them.

Jessie made 100 of these glasses from recycled beer and wine bottles for all her guests, and etched their names into the sides. What an amazing DIY project!

There were alpacas, too! They came to the wedding site with their 4-H handlers and did agility drills for wedding guests. They even had color-coordinating bows around their necks.

More on Friday!

  1. The alpacas are fabulous! Great details, and a gorgeous setting.

  2. Oooh I just love the glasses idea! So creative!

  3. Isn’t she creative? They did such a great job — and planned it all from Michigan, where they live now.
