Transatlanticism

On November 1, I had the total honor of second-shooting a wedding with my dear friend Melissa from Soul Mates Photo. We had the chance to be part of such a great wedding — that of Laura and Andy, world travelers who met each other working on a cruise ship. He is British and she is American.

Lauren, as a bride, was a picture of elegance and grace. She treated those around her with respect, she picked beautiful dresses for her bridesmaids and she handled even small snags in the day with grace.

When the light is right, it’s just right. Melissa and I were just dying in Pioneer Courthouse Square as a narrow beam of light shone out across Andy and Lauren.

Congratulations, Andy and Lauren! You were a pleasure to photograph, and I wish you a happy world-traveling life together.
