I have such a soft spot for elopements. And this one was fantastic — Naomi and Joe got married on a totally typical rainy Oregon day, but that was about the end of the typical elements. We spent the afternoon running around Portland (them in a pedi-cab!) and taking photos. It was so fun to watch them with their family and friends on such a happy day, in the city they love.

I love how sharp the two of them looked, despite the rain — they stayed warm and snuggly in their pedi-cab while their good friend Doug pedaled them around town.

The below photo was taken just after they were pronounced husband and wife at the courthouse in downtown Portland.

Joe and Naomi ended their day at the Ace Hotel, where they kicked up their heels and waited for some of their friends and family to come join them for dinner and drinks to toast their new marriage.
