I love this shoot, which we did in early October for some inspiration and as an anniversary shoot for Julie and Dan, who have been married almost five years. I remember because I was her maid of honor — Julie and I have been friends since we were small enough to cause real trouble, and it’s been amazing to watch she and Dan’s family grow.
We shot this session at this great Italian cafe near my place in SW Portland that I love to go to, Cafe Autogrill. They make authentic Italian pastries and fantastic coffee drinks.
The print comes from Made by Girl — I love her prints and want to use them in all my photo shoots!
These two are high-school sweethearts. Now, all these years later, they have a little girl who will be three in the spring. I thinks she looks like her mom and her dad.
