This week, I’m going to be sharing some photos from Jasmine and Chris’ wedding celebration, which happened back in September. Since they had so many family and friends come into town to celebrate with them, they had a pre-wedding party where they could all celebrate and hang out. They held it at Uptown Billiards in Northwest Portland and I did a photo booth plus some photos of the party. It was a really fun way for them to kick off their wedding weekend.

Jasmine found the cutest photobooth props from Etsy — I loved all these lips, mustaches and glasses!

Well, friends, it’s the last day of Maui photos on the blog! I hope you’ve enjoyed the hugely exhaustive posts from our trip and from Emily & Jeff’s wedding. Today I’m happy to share the last installment — photos from the night of the rehearsal dinner, the night before their beautiful wedding. Emily, Jeff and I started with some portraits at the Grand Wailea.

For our dinner, the whole group went to Tommy Bahama, where we ate and enjoyed the great view from their patio near the ocean.

They made a mean mai tai, and it was just so fun hanging out together and having a relaxing evening together the night before the wedding.

Below is my niece Draven, looking radiant in her lei, and in the right-hand photo you can see my nephew Forrest (in the orange shirt).

It was all too much excitement for my nephew Kailan, who didn’t quite make it through the dinner without a little nap:

Congrats, Emily and Jeff! We love you and it was so fun to be part of your extended wedding festivities this summer. Until the next trip to Hawaii!

I’m going to be honest: This was sort of a sad session. Not sad because the couple was sad, not sad because it was a sad day or sad circumstances, but sad because I have had a blast working with these two throughout their wedding process and I’m sad to be done! I guess I’ll just have to wrangle them back for an anniversary session next spring.

After their fun engagement session and their fun, modern wedding, Steph and Pete were ready to try a little something different. Steph told me that she wanted something with a sexier edge, so we drove out into the fields at sunset on a summer evening. I love the result.

Look at these guys! I love how they were channeling their inner GQ, especially Pete. Look at him working it!

Steph and Pete, you guys are the best. This was  blast, as usual, and I can’t believe our little wedding journey is over! Now onto the exciting part: Your life together!

After the amazing wedding they had at Zenith Vineyard, Melissa and Andrew took a very quiet and relaxed honeymoon on the beach — at the Stephanie Inn at Cannon Beach. As medical students, they don’t get a whole lot of extra sleep, so they were taking full advantage of the ability to sleep in and walk along the sunny summer beach. I met up with them a couple of days after the wedding for a honeymoon session.

Honeymoon sessions are so much fun. I catch up with couples on their honeymoon, and the images are always so relaxed. I love the vibe on a honeymoon — one of pure happiness and laid-back attitudes. I’d love to do more of these sessions!

Melissa and Andrew were so sweet this day — people were congratulating them along the beach as if it was their actual wedding day (since they were dressed up). It was really cute.

Congratulations again, Melissa and Andrew! I had the best time photographing your wedding and I’m so happy for you both as you start your new lives together!
